Show #119 – July 19, 2009

Call it an unofficial MuppetCast Road Trip, call it Peanut Butter Oreo day, whatever you call it, it’s a brand-new episode of The MuppetCast! This week we go to Orlando, FL, as Muppeteer Leslie Cararra-Rudolph presents her stage workshop “Wake Up Your Weird”, a one-hour one-woman ride through Leslie’s creative mind. It’s a great time, so grab some candy and enjoy!

Leslie also has a superb CD available via her official website and iTunes titled “Spunkinsass”! Grab your copy today!

The MuppetCast is sponsored by Bell, Book & Comic. Life should be more fun!

If you’re in the Orlando area, catch Encore!, the 300-member choir and orchestra comprised entirely of Disney Cast Members. Our own James Songster is among their number, and he sent in a fun rehearsal recording for the show this week.

The Paul Williams song “I Wish I Could Be Santa Claus” has been nominated for an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics”. This song was part of the 2008 TV special “A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa”.

The last number that Leslie did reminded me a lot of Sherry Lewis!
