This week brings the second installment of our Sesame Street 40th anniversary celebration. While Part 1 featured numerous skits and songs from the first 10 seasons, Part 2 attempts to tell some of the stories both on and off-camera, and features more in-depth audio from certain moments in Sesame Street’s rich history.

Tune in next week for the third and final portion of the celebration, with special guest Emilio Delgado! It will be almost a full hour with the man who’s played Luis on Sesame Street for 38 seasons.

    Hi Steve, I loved all the clips of very memorable moments in the life of Sesame Street. Some, including the Wedding I have forgotten or I never saw so this week’s episode has been great. I do hope that we will be able to get back to listener feedback and email really soon as I find that segment as well as Muppetology really interesting and instructive. thanks- Katherine from Sydney Australia

    Hi Katherine! Thanks for the comments on the episode. We will absolutely be returning to Listener Feedback and Muppetology after show #137 (an interview with Emilio Delgado). You can find the wedding video footage online, though I couldn’t find it on YouTube.
